Poolmaster telescopic pole

The diameter of the metal at the attachment end of the pole is too thin and therefore not robust. It deforms easily and allow the attachment to fall out, inevitably in the deepest part of the pool because that is where it's most stressed.

The other problem is that the telescoping mechanism is weak. If the inner pole is wet (and being wet is the nature of the beast) when you tighten the cinch fitting to maximum the pole slips. I have to take the pole out of the water, dry it with a towel and then cinch it while it's dry, to keep it from slipping and collapsing under stress. Basically, I've identified two serious design flaws after a week of use.
