I've just received this test kit, I've tried the Taylor phosphate test kit, and had no luck getting the same test results as Leslie's gets. I think at lower levels (>250 ppm) it's hard to detect. And matching the colors on the card are somewhat subjective. All I can say the results match with the Taylor kit, not Leslie's.

The AquaCheck Phosphate test is a quick, easy and accurate way to check for phosphates that can aid algae growth. However, based on my research, high phosphate levels are only a problem when you already have an algae bloom and are having trouble getting rid of it with shock and chlorine.
