The Silicone works well, the dispenser failed on me

The silicone applied easily and seems to be sealing and holding well at the skimmer, but the dispenser broke during application, specifically the plunger came loose and the unused silicone dried due to then being exposed to air. Luckily it didn't come loose until after I was done while I removed the silicone tube from the caulking dispenser tool. I use caulking tubes from Home Depot all the time and have never had this happen, so the quality of this tube is clearly worse than typical. If there is an alternate manufacturer of this available somewhere else, I would recommend trying it instead of this one.

Leaking from the tube

I bought this caulk to seal the cracking between the swimming pool wall and coping. The silicon leaked from the piston of the caulk gun when I was caulking, about 20 % silicon gone when I finished a tube. I also found the silicon shrank a lot after dry.

Worked Great

I tried other caulk that just melted under water. This caulk worked the first time and continues to work to this day. Also had no problems with spa chemicals
